N-Youth Sports Academy Shines at MTN Champs Season 4

N-Youth Sports Academy recorded an impressive outing at the recently concluded MTN Champs Season 4, with its athletes delivering strong performances and demonstrating remarkable progress on the national stage.

One of the highlights for the academy came in the women’s 100m final, where Ojone Akubo-Adegbe produced a solid run to finish 3rd with a time of 12.45 seconds, securing a podium place for the academy.

The competition also witnessed another brilliant display from sprint sensation Miracle Oluebube Ezechukwu, who continued her dominant form in Calabar. She completed a sprint double after winning the U20 women’s 200m title, further cementing her reputation as one of the brightest young sprinters in the competition.

In the same event, Chigozie Rosemary Nwankwo delivered a standout performance by clocking a new Personal Best of 23.79 seconds, breaking the 24-second barrier for the first time to finish 2nd in the 200m. Her performance marks a significant milestone in her sprinting career and highlights her steady improvement.

Miracle Oluebube Ezechukwu and Chigozie Rosemary Nwankwo also showed dominance in the 100m girls which saw Miracle secured first place
