N‑Youth Sports Academy: Empowering Young Athletes with Education & Opportunity

Since its founding in 2019, N‑Youth Sports Academy (N‑YSA) has become a beacon of hope for young, talented athletes across Nigeria. Through its partnership with the Federal Ministry of Youth and Sports Development and Nigerian Tulip International Colleges (NTIC), the Academy has not only fostered sporting excellence but has also ensured that education remains at the heart of every athlete’s journey.

Our Mission & Vision

  • To identify, train, and mentor young athletes across multiple disciplines — including football, basketball, athletics, taekwondo, swimming, and tennis. TheConclaveNg+5Leadership News+5NTIC+5

  • To combine world‑class sports training with quality academic education, ensuring that student‑athletes are well prepared both on the field and in the classroom. Leadership News+1

Scholarship Programs & Collaboration

N‑Youth Sports Academy, NTIC and the Federal Ministry have established two main scholarship schemes to support promising young talents. Leadership News+1

  1. Full‑ride Scholarships via Collaboration
These are 100% scholarships covering tuition, accommodation, feeding, and full support for student‑athletes selected through this joint framework. Athletes under this scheme attend NTIC where their education, sports training, and welfare are fully provided for. Leadership News+1

  2. Merit‑based Sports Scholarships
For those who excel in their sporting disciplines, this scheme supports them through covering costs associated with sports materials and training, and other barriers. Again, many recipients receive full or near‑full support to ensure their sports performance is not limited by financial constraints. Leadership News+1

  • Talent Pool Expansion: Through its nationwide recognition and the support of government and institutions, the Academy is uncovering talents from across Nigeria, giving them opportunities they might otherwise not have. Leadership News+2Blueprint+2
